Ex first class cricketer and now Director of Cricket Development and Head Coach at Penzance Cricket Club.
Greg said: “For many years Penzance Cricket Club had ambitions of offering the young people of Penzance and surrounding district, the opportunity to play cricket in an all-inclusive, safe and friendly environment. However, to date we have been unable to achieve these ambitions.
As an ex Penzance Cricketer, Neil offered his support via STAND FOR to help build a new cricket academy for the young boys and girls of West Penwith.”
With Neil’s support via STAND FOR , the club has now developed an exciting ten year plan which will see a new Cricket Academy established at the club. STAND FOR has provided the young people of Penzance with the opportunity to enjoy a sport which helps develop a new sense of purpose and life skills.
“The club has a completely new coaching structure in place and plans to build a new all weather outdoor cricket net facility”, said Greg, “I can’t wait to see everything in place and more importantly, the joy on the faces of the young people who will be using the new academy facilities. Without STAND FOR, none of this would be possible.” <div class=”
